AEW President Tony Khan has finally addressed Nyla Rose's controversial match from 2023.

Former Women's World Champion Nyla Rose is the first openly transgender professional wrestler to sign with the promotion. She was involved in a match against Alejandra The Lion during ROH on Honor Club taping held in Oklahoma City on December 20, 2023. Nyla made quick work of her opponent and defeated Alejandra to come out victorious.

However, The Oklahoma State Athletic Commission issued a statement, where they warned All Elite Wrestling and Nyla Rose for violating their policy about prohibiting transgender athletes from competing against each other. All-Elite CEO Tony Khan was recently asked about the issue during the AEW Dynasty Media Call, and he revealed that he supports Nyla Rose and was disappointed by the actions of OSAC.

Tony Khan would love to sign Nikki Bella to AEW

WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella recently revealed that she almost called Tony Khan after seeing Mercedes Mone's debut at Big Business Dynamite. Khan recently addressed Nikki's comments on the Battleground podcast and revealed that he would be interested in signing her to the promotion. Khan would even go on to say that the Bella Twins are like family to him due to Bryan Danielson.

"If Nikki Garcia ever wanted to come in to AEW, I would be very interested in that. I think the world of her. I have so much respect for Nicole and Brie; they're like family to us because Bryan [Danielson] is like a part of my family, and that makes Brie and Nicole part of the family. So... I have so much respect for both of them, and if Nikki was interested in coming to AEW, we would love to have her here any time," Tony Khan said.

Nikki Bella is a former WWE Divas Champion. It will be interesting to see if Nikki Bella follows in the footsteps of Mercedes Mone and inks a deal with the Jacksonville-based promotion.
