AEW and WWE are the two biggest wrestling promotions in the United States of America

A former WWE talent opened up after making her return to AEW. The star in question is Florida-born wrestler Jennacide.

Last night on AEW Rampage, TBS Champion Jade Cargill had an open challenge for her championship. Heading into the match, the 30-year-old star had 57 wins and zero losses.

Her first opponent was against a local talent in Danni Bee. After making quick work of her, the AEW star wanted to battle one more person and that was the returning Jennacide. Unfortunately, her return was unsuccessful as the TBS Champion crushed her in a matter of minutes.

During the match, The Ocho Chris Jericho who was part of the commentary team mentioned that Jennacide had suffered a stroke and was partially paralyzed.

Jennacide took to Twitter to share her experience of her time when she was admitted to the hospital and recovering to return to compete inside the squared circle.

"4 years ago during my time in the ICU, I was watching wrestling with my dad on the TV. I told him I was going to become a pro wrestler. At the time, I’m not sure if he took me seriously, But 4 years later I made my aew Rampage Debut🫶 So grateful for this opportunity! @AEW."

The last time the 39-year-old star competed in the Jacksonville-based promotion was back in 2020. She had competed in a few tag team matches on AEW Dark. Back in 2017, she competed on an episode of NXT when she wrestled Sonya Deville.

Jade Cargill set to defend her TBS Championship at AEW Double or Nothing against former WWE Superstar Taya Valkyrie

Last night on Rampage, after defeating two of her opponents, she was ready for more. Before her third challenger could walk into the ring, a former WWE Superstar made her return to the promotion.

Taya Valkyrie was previously suspended after putting her hands on referee Aubrey Edwards. She made her return and took out the undefeated star.

Following that, La Wera Loca laid out the challenge to face Cargill at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view for the TBS Championship.
