Ryan Nemeth recently got to talk about how things were with his brother Nic Nemeth (FKA Dolph Ziggler) following his release from WWE a few months ago.

The Show Off was, unfortunately, part of a string of releases the Stamford-based promotion had back in September. His 90 days of non-compete as part of his WWE contract ended recently.

His brother Ryan Nemeth recently discussed this during his appearance on Busted Open Radio. He was excited that his brother was no longer with WWE, as he claimed he had been telling him to leave for over a decade.

"I'm very excited about it. I just had the flashback of, when that kind of question is asked to someone, and they say, 'Well, you'll have to wait and see.' I can't do that. I can't wait. Is there something or isn't there? I've been telling him to leave WWE for like over a decade now. I think it's always great to leave and reinvent yourself or leave and just do something else. I'm psyched to tag with him, I'm psyched to do more comedy shows with him."

Nemeth then talked about a project he and Dolph Ziggler worked on, which was a short film introducing the latter's reinvention of himself. This received a positive response, and now that WWE's strict schedule no longer bound Ziggler, they could do so much more.

"We just shot Wanted Man, which is incredible and getting a huge positive response to launch his new character. We have 3 million views on social platforms. I'm so psyched about the positive response. Some horror websites are doing write ups on it. That kind of stuff is what I'm psyched about and you can't do that kind of stuff when one of you is trapped in a very intense WWE schedule. I'm very excited to start wrestling with him, doing events with him, and shooting more stuff. Nemeth Bros forever, baby," he said. [H/T Fightful]

RVD said Dolph Ziggler was able to outwork everyone

Dolph Ziggler recently made his first public appearance since his release from WWE at New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Wrestle Kingdom. It was also announced that he would debut for the Japanese promotion on February 23 in NJPW's The New Beginning.

Rob Van Dam (RVD) got to talk about Ziggler's return to wrestling on his 1 of a Kind podcast. He acknowledged that this was exactly what he deserved, as the Hall of Famer claimed he outworked everybody and remained in the business for decades.

"I’ve always enjoyed his company, hanging out with him, joking around with him, and I think he’s a great wrestler. It’s not just outlasting everybody, but it’s being able to outwork everybody, and staying in there for decades. Eventually, you might get noticed,” Rob Van Dam said.

Fans will have to wait just a month before Dolph Ziggler makes his debut in one of the biggest promotions in the world, and he will be eyeing one of the top prizes of NJPW.
