AEW CEO Tony Khan has revealed the backstage reaction to the controversial All-In footage involving CM Punk and Jack Perry being released last week on Dynamite.

CM Punk and Jack Perry were involved in a physical altercation at the All-In PPV event after Perry seemingly mocked the Second City Saint during his match against HOOK. After dropping HOOK on real glass during the match, Perry would go on to say 'Cry me a river' into the camera which seemingly was a shot directed towards CM Punk. This would lead to Punk confronting and choking Perry after the match. Tony Khan terminated CM Punk's AEW contract after the incident and suspended Jack Perry from the company.

Speaking on the recent AEW Dynasty media call, Tony Khan revealed that the TBS network was happy with the ratings of last week's Dynamite and stated that ratings are the most prioritized thing for the network.

Vince Russo believes CM Punk was proven right by the AEW All-In footage

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on AEW airing the clip of the All In incident between CM Punk and Jack Perry from last week's Dynamite. Russo believes Punk's recent comments about the company on the MMA Hours podcast by Ariel Helwani were proven right. Here is what Russo said on the Sportskeeda's Wrestling Outlaws podcast.

“Bro, [CM] Punk laid it out. 100 percent correct. Here are the three things Punk said, can't let you get close. And we saw what happened. Jack Perry got close and Punk pushed him away. Punk said, 'Can't let you get close. I didn't punch anybody. I just choked somebody a little bit.' That's exactly what happened. So bro, here's the takeaway for me. If you watch that whole interview and Punk was telling the truth about that incident. Then, you could assume he was telling the truth throughout the entire interview, right?"

CM Punk has not said anything about All Elite Wrestling's controversial move to release the All-In footage. It will be interesting to see if Punk addresses the clip when he returns at the WWE Draft next week.
