I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince episode 7 began with Lloyd heading to the courtyard and entrapping one of the Assassin’s Guild members, named Ren.

She initially attacked Lloyd with poison which can’t be purified, making her toxin an unknown one. She also revealed that she’s one of the Blighted, those born with special types of mana and incredible strength. She then disappeared, leaving Lloyd impressed with her poison and ability to conceal her presence.

Lloyd then tracked Ren back to the Guild’s hideout, chasing after her likewise. Sylpha arrived in the courtyard shortly thereafter, realizing Lloyd had left. Lloyd then arrived at the Guild, who seemed to know about his true nature and prepared to kill him.

The others were introduced as Warp Blighted Babylon the Giant Rat, Curse Blighted Crow the Dark Raptor, Web Blighted Galilea the Spider and Pain Blighted Talia the Hundred Pains.

Lloyd was sent into a frenzy after learning of all their powers, tracing Sylpha’s skills and scaring the Guild likewise, commending them as he beat each one by one. He then realized they can’t control their powers, leading him to engrave a spell on their bodies which gave them control.

He was then welcomed into the Assassin’s Guild for what he did for them. The episode ended with the introduction of the Guild’s leader Jade, and the tease that war truly was coming.

With Lloyd now apparently a member of the Assassin’s Guild, I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince episode 8 could begin setting up a focus on the political nature of the series’ world.

That's further set up by Albert’s declaration of war over a misunderstanding regarding what happened to Lloyd and that the group is likely going to Lordost to assassinate its king.

Episode 8 should likewise see Phantom Blighted Jade the Shadow Wolf officially introduced in the next episode, since it seems to be his power sending them all there.

That will most likely lead to conflict between him and Lloyd, but the latter is likely to prioritize his Kingdom’s safety over his newfound friendships.
