Black Clover's next few chapters are due to come out soon and fans are already excited.

Yuki Tabata recently left Weekly Shonen Jump magazine to join GIGA Jump, which releases chapters every couple of months. While fans don't necessarily enjoy waiting for so long for upcoming chapters, they understand the author's health reasons for making the switch and have praised his decision since it has also reflected in his work.

Furthermore, a lot of Black Clover fans have also taken the time to celebrate the series' classic battle shonen spirit and themes. This manga has often been qualified as generic or cliche by critics but fans view it as a way to elevate the most popular tropes of the shonen genre while keeping an entertaining and lighthearted approach, which has been Tabata's goal, by his own admission.

"Never seen black clover just had tears in my eyes b... this is real shonen who hid this from me," a fan pointed out.

The series moving forward

The latest chapter, as per the leaks, shows Asta and Yuno going up against Lucius in what could be considered the final battle of the series, at least on paper. This chapter was also important to confirm that Lucius' plan is to use a powerful spell from the skies to control the rest of humanity, although details haven't been confirmed thus far in the series.

"#BCSpoilers TABATA IN GIGA PULLING OUT PRIME MESSI RUN," someone said.
"Moving to Giga is doing wonders for Tabata, he went from sounding miserable last year to sound like he is living the best life. The 4 months wait sucks but at least he's happy and his art in its prime instead of exhausted with unfinished pages and rushing BC end," another person pointed out.
