The LA Dodgers are back in the news for all the wrong reasons. Ever since the Houston Astros' sign-stealing scandal, baseball has been working hard to clean up its image. The Astros may have had to bear the brunt of the blame, but it is alleged they were not the only team to gain an unfair advantage.

An upcoming book titled "Winning Fixes Everything: How Baseball’s Brightest Minds Created Sports’ Biggest Mess," is set to reveal a little more about the Astros scandal.

Per a recent article in the Boston Globe, Evan Drellich also touched on the accusations against the LA Dodgers. Drellich, author of the book, stated that an unnamed member of the Boston Red Sox believed the Dodgers were stealing signs in 2018:

"The Dodgers have always been the thing that bothers me the most. Because they’re the biggest cheaters in the whole [expletive] industry. … They were doing it against us in the '18 World Series."

The LA Dodgers went on to lose that World Series to the Boston Red Sox in five games in 2018. That championship was Boston's fourth title in 15 years (2004, 2007, 2013, 2018).

Per an article in Sports Illustrated in April 2020, the 2018 Boston Red Sox were also found to have used technology to steal signs. MLB concluded that the club had "used its video replay monitor" to gain an advantage.

"According to an unnamed member of the 2018 Red Sox, the Dodgers are the biggest cheaters in the sport, and even did so in the 2018 World Series against the Red Sox. The unnamed member says MLB caught them during the World Series, but did nothing (per @EvanDrellich’s new book)." - Boston Sports Gordo

Since the Houston Astros scandal, the Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers have also been accused of some form of illegal sign-stealing. Drellich's upcoming book should provide a clearer picture of what took place. The book is set to be released on February 14.
