According to reports, the Los Angeles Dodgers are among the &quot;early favorites&quot; to sign current San Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado as a free agent next winter.Machado made headlines earlier this week by saying he intends to opt out of his contract with the Padres after this season. A reunion of the Dodgers and Machado might make sense on paper, but there are a lot of other moves that would have to play out to make it happen.
