Draymond Green wished LeBron James a speedy recovery following the news of the latter's foot injury. Green, who just returned from a minor knee injury, discussed how James' absence could affect the LA Lakers and their quest for the postseason.

On "The Draymond Green Show," the Warriors star said that he reckons the Lakers could have a tough time without James. The Lakers are already without D'Angelo Russell, leaving Dennis Schroder as their lone playmaker.

"We just received news 'Bron is going to be out indefinitely for multiple games," Green said. "That hurts the Lakers a lot. This is a team that's starting to roll, that's 4-1 in their last five games. ... D'Lo has been out for the last two games. You take LeBron out, that two of your three ball handlers."

Green continued:

"You'd hope that LeBron is not out for long. You hope he's back sooner rather than later, but to say, 'I heard a pop in my foot,' and then have a noticeable limp after. And then they come out a day later and that you're out indefinitely; that's not a good sign."

LeBron James suffered a right foot injury in the LA Lakers' 27-point comeback win over the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday. The injury happened in the third quarter, and James could be heard saying that he heard his ankle pop.

However, "The King" played through the injury to help the Lakers get the 111-108 win. He was seen with a limp backstage after the game, and reports came out a day later saying that he will be out for an indefinite period.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, James is expected to be re-evaluated in two weeks. Wojnarowski added that James' return will only be known after the assessment, which means he could be out for longer.

LeBron James is expected to be out for at least the next two weeks due to a right foot injury. James' injury comes at the worst possible time for the LA Lakers, who are trying to make the playoffs. Can the Lakers survive without James for an indefinite amount of time?

It will be difficult, given the teams they're going to face in the next few weeks. They visited the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday and lost 121-109. Anthony Davis had a huge outing with 28 points and 19 rebounds, but it wasn't enough. Lonnie Walker IV scored 21 points off the bench, while Dennis Schroder had 10 points and as many assists.
