Charlotte Hornets forward Gordon Hayward showed up to the public looking ready with his new hairstyle. Hayward's new look isn't sitting well with the public, and fans have gathered to let him know about it.

In a picture posted by Bleacher Report on Twitter, Hayward was seen being comfortable with his new hair. But fans were confused as to what the player was going for when he decided on it. Looking at the pictures, it's hard to tell whether Hayward was serious about showing up in public with his new hair. Here's a photo from Bleacher Report.

Most fans don't think that his new hair is a good look. Because of this, fans have commented on Hayward's fresh cut on social media. Here are some of the best reactions to his new hairdo.

Some of the fan reactions may seem harsh towards Hayward. But until he gets his hair fixed, fans will be mocking his looks until they get tired.

The one-time All-Star is about to enter his third season in Charlotte. So far, he hasn't been able to lead the team into the postseason. Hayward and the Hornets are looking forward to having LaMelo Ball take over the leadership reins to take them to the next level.

Why it's impossible for the Hornets to trade Gordon Hayward

Gordon Hayward is one of the most fundamentally sound players of this generation. His grounded style of play has helped him become one of the NBA's best all-around players.

When he was with the Utah Jazz, he slowly developed into a star player. Hayward only had one season where he averaged at least 20 points per season. After suffering a gruesome ankle injury in the first game of the 2017-18 season, he was never the same player and started to decline.

He signed a four-year, $120 million contract with the Hornets after being traded to Charlotte in November 2020. Not that he doesn't deserve it, but most people thought the Hornets were overpaying him.

He hasn't done anything to lead the team into the postseason. Ironically, the team hasn't done anything major to help Hayward and its young core. Maybe it's time for the two parties to get separated and move on. But it's harder than that. Hayward's massive contract is impossible to move. No team is willing to accept an aging, injury-prone star with a gigantic paycheck

Although he did show flashes of his old self during his first season with the Hornets, the 6-foot-8 swingman couldn't keep up. Last season, Hayward only averaged 15.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists. All that while, he shot 45.9%, including 39.1% from the 3-point area.

His numbers are still decent for a team that's looking for other options in the lineup. But his contract may seem a bit too much for most teams. At this point, it's unlikely that a contract buyout will happen.
