Charles Barkley is one of the more interesting NBA personalities right now for his bold takes that have caused serious discussions. Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas didn't appreciate how Chuck handled his interaction with Kevin Durant.

During an interview with Taylor Rooks, the Hall of Fame player called Durant "insecure." This started their iconic exchange with KD calling Barkley a "clown."

"I actually like Kevin. I think he's a great player," Chuck said. "I think he's actually a good dude — I think he's insecure at times. You know, he gets mad when the old guys like myself say that he's gotta win a championship outside of the Golden State Warriors."

After the exchange, Arenas was asked about his opinion on the matter. The three-time All-Star commented on the hypocrisy of Barkley.

"You're talking trash about him for doing something that you did, too, during the platform you had," Arenas said. "You had a platform, and that platform you was a wild man!

"The older guys sometimes forget who they were when they were that age."

It's ironic that Barkley is almost used to dealing with the media the way Durant does. However, he still calls KD out for showing insecurity at times. So far, there have been no recent exchanges between the two men.

Is Zion Williamson the modern day Charles Barkley?

There have been a plethora of comparisons between players of today and the past. One obvious comparison is between the New Orleans Pelicans' Zion Williamson and Charles Barkley. Both are undersized forwards with bulky builds and are capable of being offensive juggernauts.

One aspect that separates Williamson from Barkley is athleticism. The former Duke forward is known to be an extreme high-flyer and can wreak havoc on the offensive end with his electrifying dunks. It was an aspect of the game which Barkley lacked back when he was active in the NBA.

If there is an area of basketball that Chuck struggled or lacked in, Williamson has also had a difficult time in one. Compared to the Round Mound of Rebound, the 6-food-7 forward isn't an elite rebounder. Unlike Barkley, the one-time All-Star is a capable rebounder, but not as good as the former.

Williamson is a completely different player, making him incomparable to other legends of the game.
