The emerging Brooklyn Nets star had a legendary quote about why he's never smiling. The quote has become so popular that a lot of basketball fans now link it to Thomas.

Considering that his quote has gone viral, it's no surprise that he's filed for a trademark for it. His application will be reviewed and he should receive a response within a couple of months.

It's important to note that, despite filing for a trademark, Cam Thomas' application may be rejected. This may happen due to a number of reasons and other trademark owners may also oppose the trademark application.
