NBA fans rain down on LA Clippers after sluggish performance in Game 3 loss

The LA Clippers looked "old and slow," according to a lot of NBA fans online following the team's Game 3 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night. The game was close in the first quarter before the Clippers allowed the Mavs to take control in the second period.

Dallas was down five after the first quarter but outscored the Clippers 36-18 in the second quarter. The Mavs never looked back, as they seized the game and earned a 101-90 win to take a 2-1 series lead in their first-round matchup in the 2024 NBA playoffs.

James Harden had 21 points, but the rest of the Clippers' All-Stars had a terrible game. Paul George and Kawhi Leonard didn't reach double-digits in scoring, while Russell Westbrook was ejected and finished with just one point in 19 minutes of action.

NBA fans called out the LA Clippers for being "old and slow" against a young Dallas Mavericks team led by Luka Doncic.

The Clippers have a lot of veteran stars who didn't show up, so some of what the fans said online has some kind of merit based on what happened in Game 3.

"The Clippers just old and slow, man," one fan wrote.
"Clippers are finished," another fan commented.
"Los Angeles more like Lost Athleticism. Because they are a washed up team," a fan remarked.

LA Clippers fans are also unhappy with their team following a terrible performance in an important game. Some are upset with coach Ty Lue, while others are holding the players accountable.

"Lue is the next Doc Rivers!" a fan claimed.
"Tell PG to lock in or he's going to be enjoying China," one fan wrote.
"Kawhi's career is done. 3 years of injuries. 7 points in a playoff game," another fan commented.
