OKC Thunder vs New Orleans Pelicans Top 10 Player props markets available for 2024 NBA Playoffs Game 3 (April 27)

NBA: Playoffs-New Orleans Pelicans at Oklahoma City Thunder
OKC Thunder vs New Orleans Pelicans player props for Game 3 on April 27

After two games in Oklahoma to open the series, the OKC Thunder will fly to Louisiana to visit the New Orleans Pelicans for Game 3. OKC nearly lost in Game 1 before bouncing back with an emphatic 124-92 beatdown of the Pelicans in the rematch. The Thunder will look to have a stranglehold on the series with another win versus the undermanned hosts.

Zion Williamson will not walk through the door for the Pelicans to help them on Saturday. They will have to regroup after they were overwhelmed two nights ago without “Zanos.” The hosts will be clear underdogs even when they will be at home.

The moneyline for Saturday’s encounter is -115 for the OKC Thunder and -105 for the New Orleans Pelicans. Oklahoma is a -1.0 favorite while New Orleans is expectedly a +1.0 underdog. The total over/under points are set at 208.5 in Game 3.

The team odds, though, aren’t the only lines fans can bet on. There are player props that can spice up their viewing experience.

Top 10 Player props for OKC Thunder vs New Orleans Pelicans, Game 3

No. 10 - Lu Dort to go Over 1.5 3-pointers (-122)

Lu Dort is averaging 3.0 3-pointers in the last two games for the OKC Thunder against the New Orleans Pelicans. The venue change might affect his shooting a bit but he is still likely making more than one from behind the arc.

No. 9 - Trey Murphy III to go Over 2.5 3-pointers (-135)

The New Orleans Pelicans will need Trey Murphy III to have his guns blazing in Game 3 versus the OKC Thunder. He is averaging 3.5 3-pointers in the series, a figure that he can likely sustain considering the matchup will be on the Pelicans’ home floor.

No. 8 - Brandon Ingram to go Over 0.5 3-pointers (-195)

Brandon Ingram has had trouble shaking off Lu Dort’s leechlike defense. “BI” has hardly attempted from deep but that will likely change in Game 3. New Orleans Pelicans coach Willie Green will surely make adjustments to free Ingram from Dort’s tentacles to launch from deep.

No. 7 - Jonas Valanciunas to go Under 0.5 3-pointers (+252)

Jonas Valanciunas will live in the paint. He will not likely go out to test his skills from deep. It’s almost impossible for him to hit even just one triple as he will probably not attempt one.

No. 6 - Jonas Valanciunas to go Over 11.5 rebounds (-109)

After hauling 20 boards in Game 1, the big man settled over seven in the rematch. But with the game moving to New Orleans, he will be more aggressive in snaring those rebounds. Chet Holmgren is taller with more length but Valanciunas just outmuscles everyone in the paint.

No. 5 - Chet Holmgren to go Under 9.5 rebounds (-110)

Chet Holmgren towers over everybody in the New Orleans Pelicans series against the OKC Thunder. But, he doesn’t have yet the build to battle Jonas Valanciuas for the rebounds. The lanky center will get his chances but the Pelicans will likely keep him from piling them up.

No. 4 - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to go Under 34.5 for Pts+Asts (-104)

Front and center of the New Orleans Pelicans’ defensive scheme will be Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He is averaging nearly 31.0 PPG but the desperate home team may be able to slow him down. Herb Jones and his cohorts might limit him under 34.5 for points and assists.

No. 3 - CJ McCollum to go Under 2.5 3-pointers (+120)

The New Orleans Pelicans are at home but the OKC Thunder brought along with them Cason Wallace. Oklahoma’s rookie has given CJ McCollum fits on every play. With the series going to New Orleans, Wallace’s intensity to do his role will only increase. McCollum might not get more than three 3-pointers in Game 3.

No. 2 - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to go Under 28.5 points (-110)

The New Orleans Pelicans’ biggest chance of getting a breakthrough in the series is limiting Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. Herb Jones will do his work and will get some help from the rest of the roster to limit “SGA” from going over 28 points.

No. 1 - CJ McCollum to go Over 21.5 points (-108)

CJ McCollum will be hounded by Cason Wallace, Lu Dort and others. But, the veteran guard can find his way to score buckets even if he will be limited from deep. If the New Orleans Pelicans want to win against the OKC Thunder, McCollum will have to get his game going. He is likely going over 21 points in Game 3.
