Shaquille O'Neal gets called out for eating chicken instead of frog legs

Shaquille O'Neal seemingly honored his bet with Ernie Johnson when he ate what looked like frog legs on Tuesday's TNT show. However, O'Neal got called out by co-host Adam Lefkoe for eating chicken instead of frog legs.

Lefkoe noticed a container under the crew's table and asked Shaq if it was frog legs. The Hall of Fame big man confidently said that they were indeed frog legs, but Lefkoe noticed that they were not. They both took a bite, and Lefkoe knew that it was chicken all along.

"Shaq, you need to stop lying," Lefkoe said. "I'm not letting you get away with a bet with Ernie (Johnson) like that. This is chicken. … America, that's chicken. This is embarrassing; be a man of your word with Ernie."

Shaquille O'Neal looked at Adam Lefkoe and hilariously called him out for snitching. The LA Lakers legend then promised to honor the bet on Thursday's show in front of Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Charles Barkley.

"I'll do it right on Thursday since you snitched me out," O'Neal said.

Shaquille O'Neal bet Ernie Johnson on last week's episode of Inside the NBA that the TCU Horned Frogs would win the National Championship over the Georgia Bulldogs. O'Neal was so confident on the Frogs that he said he would eat a frog if the Bulldogs won the title.

Fast forward to Monday, the Bulldogs annihilated TCU 65-7 to win back-to-back championships. Johnson predicted that Georgia would win by a score of 45-17, but the Horned Frogs never reached double digits. It was already over after two quarters with the Bulldogs up 38-7 at half-time.

"When Georgia beats TCU, I'll eat frogs," O'Neal said on 'Inside the NBA' last week. "I'll eat a horned frog. ... I'll eat a cook fried frog."

The Bulldogs became the first team to win two straight national championships since 2011 and 2012 when Alabama did so. Their 58-point win was the largest margin of victory in any national championship game since 1998. It was also the largest margin in a bowl game in NCAA history.
