Four-time NBA champion Steph Curry still has no concrete timeline for when he'll return to the court after the All-Star break. After going down with a lower leg injury in the Warriors' win over the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 4, Curry missed the team's last five games leading up to the All-Star weekend.

During that time, the Warriors went just 2-3, leaving them in ninth place in a stacked Western Conference. As they look towards the remainder of the season, Curry finds himself improving physically. According to a written statement by the Warriors, Curry will be re-evaluated in one week:

"Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who has missed the last five games after suffering partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane, as well as a contusion to his left lower leg on February 4 vs. Dallas, was recently re-evaluated.
"The re-evaluation indicated that Curry is making good progress. He has started various individual on-court workouts, which will continue in the coming days. He will be re-evaluated again in one week."

Over the course of the next week, the Warriors' schedule will keep them busy. On Thursday, they'll square off against the LA Lakers, before then playing against the Houston Rockets the following night. After a brief rest on Saturday, they'll return to action Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves before playing the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.

With four games against Western Conference teams ahead of them, the rest of the roster will have to step up in Curry's absence.

Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors’ quest to go back-to-back

This season has been a bit of a rollercoaster for Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. As the team looks to go back to back in the NBA Finals, the team has struggled to win on the road. While the team boasts a spectacular 22-7 record at home, they’re just 7-22 on the road.

If they have any hope of making a run in the playoffs, the team will have to figure out how they can find their rhythm on the road. Of course, with Steph Curry out that’s proving to be challenging. So far this season, Curry has played in just 38 of the team’s 58 games.

After returning from an injury to his non-shooting shoulder, Curry has now had to deal with the lower leg injury. Despite his absence over 20 games this season, the team boasts the third-best offensive efficiency rating and defensive efficiency rating in the NBA.
