Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry offered some scathing criticism of his team's current situation. As the Warriors came up short on the road once again, Curry expressed his thoughts on the team's struggles with building momentum.

The Golden State Warriors have been wildly inconsistent in the span of the last few games. After looking virtually unstoppable at the start of their homestand, Golden State started to dwindle near the end as losses started to pile up.

Almost like a domino effect, the Dubs witnessed a series of losses following their heartbreaking loss to the Detroit Pistons. After going on a three-game losing streak after that game, the Warriors started sinking once again.

However, there was some positive news on the horizon as Steph Curry made his long-awaited return from injury. Unfortunately, however, the Warriors haven't been able to make the most of his return.

Since Curry's return, Golden State has won only one of its last three. With their most recent loss coming on the road against the Chicago Bulls, the Warriors have once again fallen below.500.

Needless to say, the Dubs are frustrated. After failing to build up momentum on various fronts, Steph Curry also appears frustrated with the team's approach.

Curry highlighted the Warriors' shortcomings in building up momentum following the team's loss to the Chicago Bulls on Sunday. He said:

"I mean, we just haven't proven that we're a consistent team. We come in with a focus of how we're going to win that specific game and we talk about a lot of this, about us and how we approach the game."
"It was like 25 and 10 at one point. I had two terrible turnovers and they got break away layups. They made some easy threes and you look up and you've spotted them 15."
"We have enough that we can come back and make a game interesting and take a lead into halftime. But we just haven't proven that we're intelligent enough or play hard enough or focus enough to string a couple of good games that build that momentum. So until we do we're just going to hover around .500 and not break away from the pack."

Steph Curry's frustration may also reflect his frustration with himself. After a rather disappointing showing at the United Center, the Warriors superstar has every reason to be concerned about his team's state.

Steph Curry struggles from three-point land in Chicago

The Golden State Warriors lost by a significant margin to the 20-24 Chicago Bulls on Sunday night. While the Dubs saw some solid scoring efforts from their roster, the team as a whole struggled.

Warriors superstar Steph Curry, in particular, had a rough night off the field. While he managed to record 20 points and 10 rebounds on the night, Curry shot 8-15 from the field and a horrific 3-10 from beyond the arc.

There are some considerations to be made as the superstar makes his return from injury. Unfortunately, the Dubs are not in a position to spare any time.

With a 21-22 record, the Warriors are still battling for a Play-In spot. With greater expectations for the defending champions, Golden State will need to rack up some wins soon.
