Julius Randle capped off his explosive 43-point night for the New York Knicks against the Miami Heat with a game-winning three-point shot. The Knicks were down 120-119 with just under 20 seconds remaining in the game.

The Knicks ran a play for point guard Jalen Brunson to create for himself but couldn't free himself for a shot. Randle received the ball with 7.8 seconds left and fumbled it before hitting a fadeaway three over Tyler Herro's outstretched hands.

Mike Green, who called the game, emphatically boomed with his trademark:

"Randle pulls up a three. Bang! Bang! Julius Randle knocks down the three!!!

While the New York Knicks celebrated like they had won the championship, Miami Heat fans stood with their mouths agape in shock.

Julius Randle hit 8 of his 13 shots from behind the arc, none bigger than the game-winner. He finished the first half with 25 points and ended the night with 43 to go with nine rebounds and three assists.

Before Randle became the hero, he very nearly cost the Knicks the game. New York was leading 119-118 when he allowed Tyler Herro to strip him off the ball before the Heat guard scored on a layup.

Fortunately for him, he still had enough time to make up for his costly error and win the game for his team in remarkable fashion.

New York have now won eight games in a row and are looking to secure an outright playoff berth.

Mike Green's double bang is rarely used. Randle is in great company as only a rare few have received that call. Steph Curry got in 2016 while Luka Doncic had the honor in 2020.

NBA fans quickly sent their thoughts after Randle's incredible shot from behind the arc.

"Julius Randle wanted all the SMOKE tonight. He’s coming for everybody head"

Julius Randle matched up most of the night against Bam Adebayo, one of the NBA's best defensive players. Tonight, Adebayo and the Miami Heat defense almost had no answer for him.

The Knicks' power forward scored the last six points for his team tonight. He had a fadeaway jump shot down the right low block that ended in a three-point play with just under a minute left in the fourth quarter.

Randle capped it off with the same kind of shot from behind the arc with just 1.1 seconds left in the game.

New York had a huge first half behind Randle's sizzling start along with Jalen Brunson's playmaking and scoring. Miami roared back in the second half and erased a 17-point lead to nearly steal the thunder from the Knicks.

Randle, Brunson and Immanuel Quickley, however, refused to wilt under the pressure of the Heat's attempted rally.
