Despite falling short in the first half, Nikola Jokic rallied the Denver Nuggets to a 113-111 Game 4 victory over the LA Lakers on Monday. In the process, the Nuggets completed the sweep to move to the NBA Finals as Jokic notched up his eighth triple-double of the playoffs.
It was clear that Jokic wasn't going to allow LeBron James to extend the series. During the final few minutes of the game, Jokic hit a nearly impossible long-distance two-point shot over Anthony Davis.
At that point, "Joker" caught fire, and it was clear that he was going to dominate from that moment. True enough, he sealed the deal in LA to take Denver to their first NBA Finals.

Nikola Jokic had a historic night on Monday. Not only did he surpass Wilt Chamberlain for the record of most triple-doubles in a playoff run, but he also sent the Denver Nuggets to their first NBA Finals. Jokic came up with a huge triple-double, adding 30 points, 14 rebounds and 13 assists to put away the LA Lakers 4-0.
It's about time the "Joker" gets his chance to play on the biggest stage of them all. He has proven time and time again that he's worthy of winning gold. Jokic isn't a two-time MVP for nothing.
