When Steph Curry gave hilarious response to a poor question by a reporter

Steph Curry is known to make some hilarious anecdotes during his interviews. However, this particular incident involving a reporter asking how often he talks to his wife Ayesha Curry after games deserve to be taken note of.

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry is known for being the greatest shooter the game of basketball has ever seen. However, he is also known to be quite the devout husband and parent.

Often seen with his wife Ayesha and his kids at games, the Curry family has certainly given fans some heartwarming memories.

Curry's dynamic with Ayesha has been brought to light several times. Whether it is with regards to how the superstar has responded to jibes directed towards his wife or otherwise, the two have been quite solid in supporting each other.

With this in mind, an incident with a reporter during the 2020-21 season laid the grounds for a hilarious Steph Curry quote. Coming off a miraculous comeback win, Curry was asked about a tweet that Ayesha made after he hit a late-game three-pointer.

When asked about how often Curry speaks to his wife after games, the superstar responded with a dumbfounded expression saying:

"She's my wife. We talk all the time, what you mean?"

After a few giggles shared between the player and the media crew, Curry added:

"I hope she's the first person I call after the game. You're trying to get me in trouble."

Ayesha's tweet certainly garnered a lot of attention in light of Steph's tremendous performance against the Heat on the night. With the Warriors superstar scoring 25 points along with making the most important shots of the game, Curry led the Warriors past a formidable Miami team.

Steph Curry's late-game heroics against the Miami Heat

In a rather snake-bitten season for the Golden State Warriors, Curry emerged as the bright spark for the fanbase yet again. Delivering awe-inspiring performances night in and night out, "Chef Curry" came to Golden State's rescue in this game against the Miami Heat as well.

While the game started off in a rather competitive manner, Miami pulled away late in the first quarter. They built upon this lead and maintained it for the better part of the game. However, a late fourth-quarter surge spurred by Kelly Oubre Jr. and Curry saw the Warriors bridge the gap and force the game into OT.

OT is when things got interesting for the Warriors. After almost 2:30 minutes of inactivity, Jimmy Butler broke the deadlock with a driving layup. This was immediately followed up by a Kent Bazemore jumper to tie the game.

Bazemore continued to pave the way as he scored another basket shortly after. This paved the way for the Golden Boy to shine.

After Bam Adebayo took a shot to tie the game at 109 apiece, Curry shot a deep three to crush Miami's spirits. This was followed up by another three by Wiggins off of Steph's assist.

While Miami made it close with another three-pointer, Curry sank another heartbreaker of a three to extend the lead to six points. After sinking two FT's to ice the game, Curry brought the Warriors a win at Chase Center from virtually nothing.

Having led them to a championship last season, Steph continues to be the driving force behind the Golden State Warriors. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for this season as the Warriors fall behind with their superstar out of the rotation.

Hoping for a speedy recovery, the Warriors find themselves in a position to stay afloat and contend for a Play-In position.
