Orlando Magic rookie Paolo Banchero hit the ground running in his NBA debut. The talented forward went on to finish with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists against the Detroit Pistons. It was the first debut since LeBron James that saw a rookie finish with more than 25 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists.
After being selected with the first overall pick in the 2022 NBA draft, Banchero came into the season as a hyped rookie.
