Julius Randle and Kendra Shaw met at a college party at the University of Kentucky in 2013, and they started dating soon after. Shaw was pursuing a career in fashion design at the time and has supported Randle since college throughout his various NBA stops.

While supporting Randle, Shaw has also used her degree to start her own clothing brand, “Kalore.” The brand is based in New York City, where Randle currently plays, and specializes in creating women’s designer clothing.

Randle and Shaw got engaged on June 20, 2016, in Greece. The couple was on vacation when Randle proposed. Shaw wrote on Instagram at the time:

“6/20/16 the best night of my entire life. I couldn’t have painted a better picture. Words can’t describe the way I’m feeling and how I felt in that moment. You are the best thing that’s ever happened to me and I can’t wait to spend forever with you.”

The couple married on August 4, 2017, during a public ceremony with family and friends, including Randle’s then-LA Lakers teammates.

Randle and Shaw have two sons together, Kyden and Jayce Randle. Kyden was born in December 2016, while Jayce was born last year in October 2021.
