Shaquille O'Neal had a very impressive NBA career, in which he won four championships. His collegiate journey started with LSU, where he was twice named SECand All-American Player of the Year. In 1991, he was honored with the Adolph Rupp Trophy as NCAA men's basketball player of the year.

With a staggering net worth of $500 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth, Shaq has never backed down when it comes to helping strangers and his loved ones. As such, he once bought new trucks for his former LSU teammates, Stanley Roberts, and Wayne Sims, as a surprise.

This week, during an episode of "The Big Podcast," Shaq revealed how Stanley and Wayne let him borrow their trucks when he was struggling in life.

"I go to LSU every year, park my truck in front, listen to a few songs, sit, thank my father, thank my sisters, thank god. And then I'm out. So I had to show there one day, and like, they [Stanley and Wayne] always come to support and hang out and they pulled up in some raggedy trucks, bro.
"Stanley Robers, former NBA player and Wayne Sims, rest in peace. And I saw them and I remember when I didn't have anything, they still let me borrow their trucks. I called them and I told them to meet at the Ford dealership, and I told them to pick one, and both of them started crying.
"I said, 'Hey man, I ain't with all that ****, just pick a truck. Y'all used to be the hardest of dudes I know, don't start all that.' So anyway I buy them the truck, they're trying to hug me. It was just me telling the guys 'Thank You.'"

Shaq bought them a $75,945 Ford F-150 XLT each. This was his hard work paying off for him, as initially, he came from a poor family. He had to loan $6,000 to buy a used car in college when he was in urgent need of it.

In his remarkable college career at LSU, Shaq averaged 21.6 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game. He played a total of 90 games for them and was later drafted by Orlando Magic as the No.1 pick in the 1992 NBA draft.
