Shane Watson’s brilliant century went in vain as Chennai Super Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals by 5 wickets with a ball to spare, courtesy a late assault from Dwayne Bravo. But the main architect of yesterday’s win was Michael Hussey who scored a brisk 88 runs off 51 balls.
As a result of yesterday’s win, Chennai tops the table while Rajasthan remains rooted to the fourth spot.
Today, four teams will be on action as Pune Warriors India will take on Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Garden City. Meanwhile, in the evening, a resurgent Delhi Daredevils will face Kings XI Punjab on the home turf. Expect some movement in the table at the end of the day.
