KPL 2015: Mysuru Warriors unveils the team anthem

Mysore 10, 2015: Cycle Pure Agarbathies, the world’s largest incense stick manufacturer and the franchisee of Mysore’s KPL team today formally launched the Mysuru Warriors team anthem for the KPL tournament. Titled “Nee Salam Hodi”, the anthem is composed and sung by noted musician Raghu Dixit.

Youthful and peppy the anthem takes inspiration from the folk music of the region and blends it with contemporary music making it appealing to both cricket lovers as well as the music lover. The anthem embodies the spirit of the team.

Launching the album, Mr. Raghu Dixit, composer & singer said, “I feel greatly honoured to have been given an opportunity to compose music for my home team. Mysuru Warriors is one of the most promising teams and I wish them the very best.”

Speaking on the anthem, Mr. Arjun Ranga, Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies, said, “Music is an art form that is not bound by region, language or religion. It has the power to bring everyone together. Further, Mysore is known for its cultural richness. It has had a legacy of patronizing, be it performing or fine arts. Raghu Dixit and his band, the Raghu Dixit Project was our choice because understand the nuances of the region and at the same time embodied the spirit of the team to appeal to a wider audience.”
