Henriques produces the much needed break by picking up du Plessis's wicket, he is caught behind to Ojha. The captain MS Dhoni walks in to bat and hits Henriques for a four in the very first ball. Henriques goes for 8 runs again

Bhuvi is back into the attack to produce a break through but goes for 9 runs. Things are not looking real bright for the Sunrisers

Warner keeps on experimenting with his bowling line up in search of a wicket and he has handed the ball over to Henriques and even he goes for 8 runs ruining a pretty good over by getting hit for a six in the last ball

Change in bowling as Warner introduces Bipul Sharma into the attack and doesn’t matter who comes into bowl Pune Batsmen are taking them to the cleaners. Faf du Plessis hit Bipul for a boundary and a six in back to back deliveries. Even Smith joins the party getting a boundary of the last bowl of the over.

Mustafizur bowls his second over. Smith is looking in golden touch as he times the ball through mid-wicket for a couple of boundaries. End of the powerplay and Pune are running away with the game at this point

Steve Smith scores two boundaries in this over and he is lucky on both occasions as a misfield contributes to the first four and he edges the bowl just past Ojha for his second.

Kumar comes back to bowl another over and is unlucky not to have another wicket beside his name. Faf du Plessis gets an inside edge but the bowl runs away for a boundary. Great bowling display from Sunrisers till now.

Nehra to bowl the second over and is making a comeback in this game after his injury. Faf du Plessis pulls him for a four in the very second ball he bowls. he is hit for a four but goes for only 5 runs

Rahane and du Plessis walk into bat for the Rising Pune Supergiants to chase down 119 runs. The bowl isn’t doing much at the start of the Pune innings, it is not swinging like it was when Sunrisers were batting. Rahane is caught at point by Morgan who takes the catch in the second attempt. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar hits Perera for back to back boundaries and both of them down to thirdman. His cameo comes to and end, he is caught at long off by du Plessis, first wicket for Perera in this game. The last over of the Sunrisers innings goes for 13 runs and they end at 118 for 8. Rising Pune Supergiants will require 119 runs to win

Bipul Sharma is run out of the very first ball of Dinda’s last over. Bhuvaneswar Kumar has come out with all guns blazing, hitting Dinda for a four down to thirdman and lofting him for a six straight down the ground. Expensive over for Dinda, he went for 13 runs

Looks like it is only going to be a single for M. Ashwin today as Perera is brought back into the attack. Dhawan hits a massive six to bring up his half century and the Perera over went for 11 runs.

Dinda comes back to bowl at the death and knocks Ojha over ending the partnership. Third wicket for Dinda in this match. Bipul Sharma comes to join Dhawan in the middle. Great over from Dinda going for only 3

Murugan Ashwin into the attack to bowl his first over in the 16th over of the game. He should have had a wicket in his first over but Rahane dropped Dhawan’s catch. A great over at the death went for only 6 runs

Ojha hits Bhatia over mid-wicket for a six. Sunrisers putting up great resistance against such a disciplined Pune bowling and slowly paving their way to a respectable total. Another expensive from Bhatia

SRH 59-5 after 14 overs

Ashwin finishes his quota of 4 overs going for only 14 runs and picking up a wicket. Some very good ground fielding by Pune, they are throwing their body around and stopping runs

SRH 53-5 after 13 Overs

Dhawan lifts Bhatia straight down the ground for a boundary. A boundary after a very long time. Dhoni misses a run out had he managed to hit stumps ojha would have been running all the way back to pavilion. Bhatia over goes for 8 runs and 50 comes up for Hyderabad.

The boundaries had dried up long away and both Ojha and Dhawan are struggling to even work the ball around for singles. Ashwin's over went for only 3

Rajat Bhatia is introduced into the attack by Dhoni and he keeps the momentum going for Pune conceding only 3 runs. Sunrisers need to break the shackles and need to break them quick

The Pune Bowlers are literally giving nothing away. Ashwin balls another good over, Dhawan and Ojha are trying to rebuild the Hyderabad innings

Dhawan was lucky to get a boundary first ball of the inside edge, could have gone on to hit the stumps. Dinda strikes again. Aditya Tare skies the ball trying to pull a short ball and only manages to get caught at cover by Perera of the last ball.

Ashok Dinda came back for another over and gave away only 6 runs. He is swinging the ball both into and away from the batsman and it is becoming very tough for either Dhawan and Tare to put him away

Another great over from the Supergiants point of view. Mitchell Marsh’s over went for just 3 runs. The rain seemed have helped the medium pacers and the new ball swinging a bit and it is becoming tough for both Tare and Dhawan to play shots

RISING PUNE SUPERGIANTS: The tale has been exactly the opposite for the Supergiants as the MS Dhoni-led side has slumped to 4 successive defeats now, having lost their last match to the Kolkata Knight Riders in a final-over thriller. They have also been marred by an iSnjury to Kevin Pietersen, a mainstay of their batting line-up, who suffered a calf injury in the match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Ajinkya Rahane has been the only consistent batsman in their line-up, but even he hasn't managed to convert the 30s, 40s, and 50s that he has got into match-defining innings. With the top 4 comprising of Rahane, Faf du Plessis, and Steven Smith, RPSG have underperformed with the bat, to be honest. The lack of a good foundation has led to an increased pressure on the middle and lower middle order that has hitters like the captain Dhoni himself, Thisara Perera, and Albie Morkel.

The spin duo of Murugan Ashwin and Ravichandran Ashwin has not been able to effectively hunt in pairs and have been taken for runs at times. The same has been the case with Ankit Sharma, the left arm spinner. The fast bowlers have also lacked in potency, with Ishant Sharma, Thisara Perera, Albie Morkel and Rajat Bhatia not being able to provide breakthroughs at crucial junctures and failing to cope up with the pressure during crunch situations.

Altogether, the picture doesn't look very good for RPSG, and they for sure need Dhoni's magical touch to get back to winning ways. They need to improve in all three departments, and doing it against a resurgent SRH side would be all the more difficult.

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD: Inspired by their dynamic captain, David Warner, the Sunrisers have gone on a winning spree of late, as they have beaten the Kings XI Punjab, the Gujarat Lions and the Mumbai Indians in their last three encounters. All of these wins have come while chasing including that emphatic 10-wicket-victory against the Lions in Rajkot. Warner has held the key for his team since their opening game, currently placed second on the list of the highest run-getters in the tournament. His blazing knock of 59 off just 31 balls with 7 fours and 3 sixes would have already sent some jitters down the RPSG camp. Shikhar Dhawan, his opening partner, who struggled in the first three games with the bat, seems to have regained his touch a bit with a 50 and a 40 in the last two outings. In Deepak Hooda, Eoin Morgan, Moises Henriques and Naman Ojha, they have a good-looking middle order, capable enough of rotating the strike in the middle overs as well as finding the fence when the need arises.

This said, their bowling looks even better with the 20-year-old Mustafizur Rahman wrecking havoc in every match that he has played with his accurate yorkers and almost unplayable cutters. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Barinder Sran have been decent with the new ball, though Sran hasn't been very penetrating. Bhuvaneshwar has threatened the batsmen with his swing early on in the game, as well as with his yorkers at the death. Bipul Sharma has also been decent enough with his spin and has managed to curtail the runs on some occasions. All in all, SRH look like attaining the much-needed balance in their side as the tournament progresses towards its business end.

The tides have been exactly the opposite for the team competing in this match, as the Supergiants who began their campaign on a positive note with a win against the defending champions, the Mumbai Indians, in IPL2016 opener, have lost 4 consecutive games thereafter, while the Sunrisers, who lost their first two games have bounced back and have completed a hat-trick of victories.
