Video: Shane Warne and Ian Healy's amazing plot to dismiss Basit Ali

Before the last ball of the 3rd day of the 3rd Test between Pakistan and Australia at Sydney in 1995-96 was bowled, legendary Australian spinner Shane Warne and keeper Ian Healy were engaged in a conversation. Here is what they spoke, and what followed that was nothing short of remarkable.

Warne: What are we going to have dinner tonight, mate? Do you feel Mexican? Italian?.

Healy (walks back to Warne before the last ball): See if you can do some magic, see if you can get him around his legs or something.

Warne then bowled a ball that pitched outside the leg stump and went through batsman Basit Ali’s pads to disturb the woodwork, and the celebrations indicated how much they enjoyed the dismissal.
