Indian batting sensation Virat Kohli and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma have been spotted walking hand in hand on the streets of Auckland, New Zealand. Kohli is a part of the Indian contingent that is in New Zealand to play 5 ODIs and 2 Tests.

The couple, who insist that they are just friends, were spotted strolling together by fans on the deserted streets of the city, where the Indian cricket team is currently stationed.

According to the Indian Express reports, Anushka Sharma has travelled to New Zealand to spend some time with the 25-year-old

Anushka has recently said in an interview that: “We are friends (Virat and Anushka). I met him during the shoot of a shampoo commercial. I thought he’d be arrogant so I also went with arrogance but once we started shooting, I realised that he’s really chilled out. We shot together for three days and on the second day of the shoot, I was having a get-together at my place so I called him over to hang out with my friends”

“That’s what it was and the next thing I read is a completely fictional account of how we were smooching in a lift in front of some Aunty from my building who we made uncomfortable. Arrey, I’m not even a hugging person. I feel very weird when everyone hugs each other on the sets. I’m like arrey kal hi toh mile thay yaar.”

It is to be mentioned that India is yet to win a single match in the series. The visitors have lost the ODI series 0-4 and have started the first day of the first Test match on a disastrous note.
