The release date for Defense Grid 2 was revealed by developers Hidden Path Entertainment. It is said that the game will be released on September 23, 2014.
Defense Grid 2 is a direct sequel to the 2008 released game Defense Grid: The Awakening. The game belongs to the genre of Tower Defence. The game is available on the platform of PC in the form of digital download, PS4 and Xbox One.
As per IGN, Defense Grid 2 introduces 21 maps containing new threats and new game modes such as online PVP and multiplayer co-op added to the single-player campaign.
