Kick streamer Adin Ross has spoken up against his community following the recent controversy involving Felix "xQc." For those unaware, Felix ended u in a verbal spat with a couple of Adin's streamer friends. Both Cameron "Cuffem" and Shnaggyhose were heard using homophobic and transphobic slurs directed at Felix and his friend Omie.

This naturally upset xQc, who subsequently quit the stream before explaining that he has a responsibility to protect his community. The streamer had said:

"It's about the people that watch me that I care about, my community...I'm not gonna let these people take over and say s**t to my people."

Today (April 27), Adin took to his stream to seemingly side with xQc, stating that he doesn't have to "cater" to his own community's standards all the time. He said:

"I don’t care to cater to you toxic 12-year-olds."

"He defended his community" - Adin Ross speaks on recent drama with xQc

Adin Ross recently went live on Kick to address the ongoing controversy surrounding xQc. Despite Felix abruptly leaving a stream earlier this week due to some homophobic slurs used by Adin's friends, Adin stood by his side, arguing that he was merely safeguarding his community. He said:

"Think of it like this - let's just say everyone in my community was black and someone were to say something to you guys, a slur, that a lot of you guys didn't f**k with. No sh*t, Imma have you guys' backs."

He added:

"That's why I f**k with what xQc did. He defended his community. You guys can say all you want, bro. I don't care. I don't care to cater to you toxic 12-year-old r**ards. All my mature people know what the f**k I am saying."

Adin Ross also revealed that Cuffem and Shnaggyhose have also apologized to xQc following their feud. He said:

"My friends were 100% in the wrong, and they apologized to xQc privately. It's not about being soft, it's about standing with your community."

The day before this controversy erupted, Adin Ross engaged in a heated debate with xQc on sensitive subjects, including the influence of the queer community on children. Predictably, they held contrasting viewpoints. Despite the disagreement, the two maintain a strong friendship and have continued to collaborate since then.
