Manchester United have been in good form after the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their caretaker manager in December last year. Apart from one loss to PSG in the Champions League, the Red Devils are yet to lose a game in all competitions since the arrival of the Norwegian.

This season, Manchester United have seen the likes of young English footballers such as Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Luke Shaw cement their place in the starting XI. They have been exceptional on the field and have done well to help Manchester United milk the maximum out of their set of home-grown players.

It is to be noted that Manchester United have had the tradition of producing great English talent with players such as David Beckham, Wayne Rooney, Rio Ferdinand, and Michael Carrick doing well with the Three Lions during their prime.

English football has been on the rise in recent months with a number of young English talent performing well across Europe. Premier League has seen some wonderful teenagers debut this year and it has increased the quality of football in England.

Manchester United is one club who have always relied on English talent to an extent to win trophies for the club. With so much English talent at disposal right now, here are three young English footballers whom the club should try to sign this summer.

#3 Ryan Sessegnon

Fulham's 18-year-old teenage sensation Ryan Sessegnon was instrumental in helping his side qualify for the Premier League this season. The England footballer also became the first footballer born in this century to score a Premier League goal this season.

Sessegnon is a genuine left-winger who has also played as a left-back in certain matches of his short career so far. He is quick and can guarantee a lot of goals for his club.

Alexis Sanchez's future at Manchester United is a concern and with Anthony Martial being the only other left-winger in the side, signing Ryan Sessegnon would be a wise decision from Manchester United point of view.

Keeping the future in mind, he would also be a good investment for the club to bring him to Old Trafford this summer.

#2 Aaron Wan-Bissaka

At just 21-years-old, England footballer Aaron Wan-Bissaka has already cemented his place as Crystal Palace's right-back in this season. He performed well last year and has kept his form this season too which has put him on the radar of top European clubs.

Wan-Bissaka is good in the attack and does well to do his defensive duties thereby catching the attention of other big clubs. He has done all this at a young age and would be a great signing for any club.

Antonio Valencia will leave Manchester United at the end of this season and Italy full-back Matteo Darmain might follow him too. Ashley Young is at the twilight of his career and Diago Dalot is a young prospect. Hence, Manchester United needs a right-back for the upcoming season and it would be best if the club can go for a home-grown player in the form of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

#1 Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho- The next big thing in football?

Jadon Sancho has been touted as the next big thing in football following his impressive performances for Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga this season. The right-winger has produced a number of goals this season and has also consistently supplied a lot of assists. Most importantly, the 18-year-old has shown promise to grow into a world-class footballer in the future.

Sancho left Manchester City before the start of this season and after taking the No.7 shirt at Dortmund, he has been exceptional. The youngster has a bright future with the England football team and hence, a lot of English clubs are attracted by this prospect.

Manchester United has suffered in recent times for not having a genuine right-winger in the squad. Most occasions, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata had to do this job and in the recent game against Liverpool, Romelu Lukaku played on the right-wing.

Although United is linked with a number of big names for this position, it would be best if United go for Jadon Sancho. He is young and has a good future ahead of him. Most importantly, he is a home-grown player which would help United maintain the quota.
