Real Madrid are speculated to be looking at Sevilla’s defender Alberto Moreno , according to Spanish website ElConfidencial.com.

Apparently, Carlo Ancelotti is seeking for a good backup for Marcelo, with Fabio Coentrao‘s injuries forcing the Italian manager’s hand to field right back Alvaro Arbeloa as a left-back.

Alberto Moreno is now being touted as the first option to replace Fabio Coentrao, with interests from clubs such as Manchester United, Tottenham and Paris Saint Germain are high for the Portuguese.

However, the 21-year-old has seen his stock rise a great deal over the last year or so and he has already earned two Spain caps.

Moreno has also recently signed a new contract with Sevilla, increasing his buy-out clause from 12 million euros to 30 million.

This could pave the way for Fabio Coentrao’s move to Manchester United.
