Signing Spanish U21 star Isco

The lack of a 25-goal a season striker in Chelsea’s squad is said to be the major concern which needs to be addressed by their new manager Jose Mourinho. He is said to be in the market for an out-an-out striker, after preparing for the departures of Fernando Torres and Demba Ba. It is reported that Cavani is at the top of his wishlist.

In his pursuit of a quality striker due to the imminent departure of Gonzalo Higuain, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has supposedly made a two man shortlist, with Edinson Cavani being his priority target. The other striker on that wishlist is Cavani’s fellow countryman, Luis Suarez. The liverpool star came out openly and expressed his desire to leave the club, stating ill-treatment by the officials in England as his primary reason to leave the Merseyside outfit.
