Baichung Bhutia will watch United Sikkim’s game against East Bengal from the stands as he isn’t fit enough to feature in the game.

Bhutia, who is owner-cum-player at United Sikkim has been spotted many times in training but hasn’t made the cut to feature in this particular match.

Meanwhile, after returning from Goa, the East Bengal team have flown to Gangtok this afternoon. East Bengal coach Trevor James Morgan has made three changes in the team which played in Goa against Sporting Club. Cavin Lobo, Harmanjot Khabra and Len have been drafted into the squad in place of Manandeep Singh, Robin Singh and Subodh Kumar.

On the other hand, after defeating Salgaocar in their opening encounter in the I-League, Baichung’s side is quite confident of a good fight against the Red and Gold Brigade. As per the latest news, Baichung has arranged some special corporate stands for some people. Though those stands have already been sold out, Baichung is quite confident that he will see a jam-packed stadium on October 11. Rumours of an entertainment show for fans at half-time are rife.
