Rumour: Borussia Dortmund interested in signing Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku in action for Everton

Romelu Lukaku’s Chelsea future is in doubt once again after Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund expressed their interest in the striker.

The 21-year-old, who recently scored a hat-trick for his country against Luxembourg, is linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer and there are no shortage of takers with Tottenham, Everton and AC Milan all interested in his services.

Dortmund are currently linked with a move for Torino’s Ciro Immobile as a replacement for outgoing striker Robert Lewandowski but could try and sign Lukaku if the other deal falls through.

Chelsea will undoubtedly be reluctant to sell Lukaku but the player could force a transfer if he isn’t guaranteed any first team chances after his fruitful loan spell with Everton this season where he netted 16 goals in 33 appearances.

Chelsea have been linked with a number of world class strikers like Diego Costa, Mario Mandzukic and Edinson Cavani who could all diminish Lukaku’s first team chances.
