Capital One Cup draw - Manchester United to face Norwich, Arsenal entertain Chelsea

Manchester United triumphed 1-0 over Liverpool last night at Old Trafford, earning them a fourth round draw against Norwich City. An early goal in the second half from Javier Hernández secured the win for United.

Manchester United vs. Norwich City should be an easy fixture for the Red Devils and David Moyes will be hoping for a win to take them one step closer to the Capital One Cup trophy.

A relatively young Arsenal squad started last night’s game against West Bromwich Albion. Serge Gnabry gave the Gunners a lead, but West Brom’s Saido Berahino pulled one back for the hosts. A penalty shoot-out saw Arsenal win 4-3, thus taking them to the next round where they’ll face Chelsea.

This is probably the one match you wouldn’t want to miss – Arsenal vs Chelsea. Arsene Wenger will be hoping to have most of his first-team squad back from injuries by then. And it would be quite interesting to see what squad Jose Mourinho fields against the Gunners.

Defending Champions Swansea City were ousted by Birmingham City 3-1. The latter now face Stoke City in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup.

Newcastle beat Leeds United 2-0 and will face Manchester City at St. James Park. City who are on a high after the weekend’s derby win against United and will most definitely be looking to extending their winning streak here too.

Arsenal’s north-London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, have an easy fixture against Premier League new entrants Hull City, who will travel to White Hart Lane just a couple of days after their encounter in the league.

Manager-less Sunderland will play host to an in-form Southampton team, while West Ham United will travel north to face Championship side Burnley.

Martin Jol’s Fulham will be traveling to Leicester, hoping for win and a place in the quarter-finals.
