AC Milan are preparing a January bid to sign Chelsea midfield star Cesc Fabregas until the end of this season, according to reports from Italian journal Calicomercato. The report claims that Fabregas has grown frustrated after being continuously left out of the starting XI by new manager Antonio Conte.
The Spanish midfield star is ready to walk out on Chelsea and is desperate to force a move away from the club in January. Fabregas was linked with a move to AC Milan earlier in the summer as well however Italian giants could not agree on the fee and talks between the two clubs ended prematurely.
Despite wanting a move away, Fabregas pledged his future to Stamford Bridge in an inspiring Instagram post at the start of this season however after four substitute appearances Fabregas is once again keen to find himself a new club.

Calciomercato understands that AC Milan have already agreed on a £2.5million fee to bring Fabregas to San Siro until the end of this season with an option to sign him permanently if he plays certain number of matches. Real Madrid were one of the potential suitors as well but their recent transfer ban has ruled them out of the contention to sign the 29-year-old star.
Where it went wrong for Fabregas?
Cesc Fabregas is one of the best players at finding the right pass and controlling the play from midfeld. Unfortunately for him, Antonio Conte demands more than that from his players as he wants them to give their all both defensively and going forward.
Fabregas’ work rate has always been the issue and he is not necessarily a hard tackling midfielder. At present, Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante are way ahead in the holding midfielder role while Oscar has made the number 10 role his own under the new manager.
This has left Fabregas to be content with a position on the bench which has not gone well with former Arsenal man. Having said that, he has looked creative for the little amount of time he has been on the pitch for Chelsea this season.
It is now up to Conte to decide whether he wants to keep Fabregas as a substitute or let him go in January to free up the space to sign a player of his liking?
