Wayne Rooney’s uninspired performance in Manchester United‘s opening match defeat against Everton was enough to earn him a place on the bench in their match against Fulham. Meanwhile marquee signing Robin Van Persie and Shinji Kagawa took center stage with goals on their home debut. It looks like Fergie has seemingly pushed his old favorites onto the bench in favor of his new ones. At least bench veteran Dimitar Berbatov has the last laugh!
