Barcelona want to sign Clyne in January

Barcelona have targetted Liverpool’s right back Nathaniel Clyne as their key signing, according to reports from Marca. Manager Luis Enrique wants to add a solid defender to his squad and is not ready to settle for a plan B option. Marca are reporting a €22 million bid from the Catalan giants which could force Liverpool to consider their options. Clyne has been a regular under Jurgen Klopp but a bid from Barcelona may force him to consider the offer once.

PSG out to ruin Manchester United’s transfer plans

PSG are determined to beat Manchester United to the signing of Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann. According to L’equipe, PSG are prepared to break the world record transfer fee next summer to sign the Frenchman who has been linked with the Premier League club for last 12 months. Jose Mourinho sees Griezmann as the ideal long-term replacement for Wayne Rooney and United are expected to submit a bid money bid next season.

Manchester United are set to sign a new central defender and a right back in January which has put Chris Smalling’s future in doubt, according to the Daily Mail. Based on reports, Mourinho does not see Smalling as the ideal man to lead his defence in coming seasons. Antonio Rudiger is rumoured to be the central defender United are after with AS Monaco’s Fabinho tipped to be the full back signing next year.

Inter Milan’s primary January transfer target revealed

Inter Milan are confident of signing Matteo Darmian in January according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano. According to reports, Darmian has been told to find a new club and the Italian fancies a move back to Serie A. Inter are the only high profile team interested in Darmian after Barcelona have turned their attention to Liverpool’s Nathaniel Clyne. Darmian will be United’s first major exit of the season as Jose Mourinho’s revolution begins to take shape.

Bayern Munich are certain that striker Robert Lewandowski will sign a new three-year contract with the German champions. Lewandowski’s contract talks have stalled in recent weeks with the Polish striker inked with a whole host of clubs around Europe, more notably Manchester City and Real Madrid. However, the striker is expected to pen down a new long-term deal before the end of this season.

Lamela next to sign the new deal with Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur had a decent summer of transfers by signing only a couple of new players but have managed to tie down all their key performers (Alli, Dier, Walker, Rose and others) to long term deals at White Hart Lane. Next in line to sign his new deal with Argentine winger Erik Lamela, according to reports from The Sun. Lamela is expected to sign the new deal before the new year.
