The Saints striker was involved in a 31 man brawl at St James’ Park in Newcastle. Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Newcastle’s goalkeeping coach Andy Woodman have been charged by the English Football Association for Saturday’s scuffle at St James’ Park but the two clubs will escape disciplinary action charged by the FA.

As per reports in Dailymail, Southampton’s goalkeeping coach Toni Jimenez along with Woodman were sent off by referee Mike Jones under instruction from fourth official Kevin Friend. It is said that they also have avoided an FA charge.

Daniel Osvaldo was charged with violent conduct in the scuffle that took place during injury time at Newcastle on Saturday. Andy Woodman was charged with improper conduct. The incident took place because of the violent tackle by Morgan Schneiderlin on Massadio Haidara. Haidara was also playing his second game after recovery from a injury caused to him by a Calum McManaman tackle last season.

As reported in Dailymail, Alan Pardew and Mauricio Pochettino had to intervene as peacemakers in the scuffle which involved 16 coaches and support staff, eight substitutes and seven stewards. Alan Pardew had also described the event as “pretty pathetic”.
