According to the Mirror, David Beckham, the owner of the newly formed MLS side in Miami is trying hard to make Cristiano Ronaldo the poster boy of his new team. Beckham's Miami side is set to be officially launched this month and the former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar is hoping to sign Cristiano Ronaldo next summer. The forward will turn 33 by that time and Beckham hopes to give the Portuguese a brilliant cash-rich platform for one last challenge in his career.

Paris Saint-Germain feared to miss out on Kylian Mbappe on deadline day

The Telegraph has understood that PSG were in genuine worry about the fate of their loan proposal for the 18 year old sensation, Kylian Mbappe. To avoid sanctions because of FFP, Paris Saint-Germain had proposed a loan move for Mbappe and then signing him for €180 million next summer. But the intricacies of the deal and the time remaining had made the Parisians nervous. But AS Monaco completed the formalities in quick time and Mbappe became a Paris player on deadline day.

Inter Milan to insert release clause in Ivan Perisic's new contract

The Croatian winger was a summer transfer target for Manchester United with Jose Mourinho even making a £40 million bid for the 28 year old in July. But Inter Milan and the Red Devils could not agree upon a transfer fee which meant Perisic had to stay put at San Siro. Tuttosport has now reported that Inter have offered Perisic a new improved deal which will make him one of the highest earners at the club and which will also feature a release clause of £64 million.

Juventus to make a bid in January for Emre Can

After reportedly receiving some positive signal from Emre Can's camp, Juventus are ready to make a £20 million move for the midfielder as soon as the January transfer market opens. It is believed that Juventus have understood that the German international will not sign a new contract whereas Liverpool are keen on offering him an extension. To avoid any risk of the player signing a new deal after January, the Bianconeri are of the view of signing the 23-year old in the winter window itself.

But the Bavarians were not interested in offloading the utility player and the Spaniard also preferred to fight for his place at the Allianz Arena. Chelsea then contacted and ultimately signed Davide Zappacosta from Torino as a replacement after their failed effort to sign Rafinha.

Leicester City sign Alexander Dragovic on loan

Bayer Leverkusen's 25-year old defender, Alexander Dragovic has joined the Foxes on a season long loan. The defender arrived in Germany last year but has fallen out of favour after making just 15 starts in the previous campaign. Leicester City wanted a defender to end their transfer window and after a failed attempt to sign Calum Chambers from Arsenal, Craig Shakespeare zeroed in on the Austrian Dragovic.

Tottenham Hotspur to make a move for Ross Barkley in January

Spurs have received a boost for the next transfer window after knowing that Ross Barkley, the Everton playmaker wishes to join the Lilywhites. The Daily Mirror reports that Barkley will work on his fitness and try to get as much game time till January to make himself completely ready for the London move. The English tabloids had recently reported that Barkley had undergone a medical at Chelsea on deadline day before backtracking on the last minute.

Coutinho was reportedly crying after his move to FC Barcelona broke down

Coutinho's national teammates at Brazil has reportedly revealed to Mundo Deportivo that the Liverpool playmaker was in tears after he came to know of Barcelona's failure to sign him on deadline day. The Catalans made as many as four bids for Coutinho but the Reds maintained their stance of not selling the Brazilian since day one of Barcelona's interest. The 25-year old now has no other option than apologising and getting back on the field for Liverpool.

But the Welshman had other ideas as he rejected the offer to remain with the reigning European champions. Gareth Bale has made it clear to the club hierarchy that he is happy in Spain and wants to fight for his place in the starting eleven.

Loic Remy leaves Chelsea for Las Palmas

The French striker has finally found a club which will end his misery with Chelsea. La Liga side, Las Palmas have signed Remy in a two-year deal and will pay him around £70,000 per week. Remy had a spell to forget at Chelsea where he joined in 2014 and made just 32 appearances in two years before being shipped out on loan to Crystal Palace last season.
