The FIFA Competitions Department paid a visit to some of the stadiums in India, that have been planned to be used for the FIFA U-17 World Cup of 2017, which will be held in India. These are the four stadiums that the FIFA officials inspected: Kanteerva Stadium in Bengaluru (Bangalore) has a capacity of 35,000 people. Plans for KSFA stadium?s reconstruction are ongoing for the U-17 World Cup. KSFA Football Stadium, Bengaluru Cooperage Stadium, Mumbai has a capacity of 5,000 fans and currently plays host to Mumbai FC in the I-league. Cooperage Stadium, Mumbai Balewadi Stadium, Pune has a capacity of 12,000 people, it is the host ground of Pune FC for the I-League. Balewadi Stadium, Pune PJN Stadium, Goa has a capacity of 19,000 with 4 teams in the I League playing matches there.
