Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale doesn’t want his teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to move to England. There have been a lot of rumours lately focussing on the Portuguese forward’s sensational move back to Manchester United next summer.

The 29-year-oldl continued his phenomenal scoring spree on Sunday with his 22nd La Liga hat-trick against Athletic Bilbao and equalled the record held by Real Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stefano and Bilbao striker Telmo Zarra.

Bale doesn’t want Ronaldo to leave

Currently on international duty ahead of Wales' Euro 2016 home qualifiers against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Cyprus, Bale remarked:

"Definitely not,

"He's shown what a world-class player he is year after year scoring the goals.

"Obviously he's a player we wouldn't want to see leave. Of course [I] want to see him stay at Real Madrid."

The Real Madrid teammate Bale was sure on what he wished to happen of Ronaldo’s career and it was surely not the 29-year-old going to England.

Bale not on song this season

The current Ballon d’Or holder has been in immaculate form whereas Bale has struggled in his second season in Spain.

The 25-year old was also linked with a move to United this week following the unhappiness shown by the Real Madrid fans for his performances this season.

The former Tottenham Hotspur winger had a brilliant debut season with the Spanish giants scoring in the finals of both the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.

The Welshman has come under scanner for his displays this season and ahead of last Sunday’s 5-0 rout of Athletic at Bernabeu, leading Madrid daily Marca carried a poll on

whether he should be shifted to the bench.

Around 60 percent Madrid faithful voted in support of dropping him to the bench.

The former Southampton player rubbished talks of a move and said:

"I signed a six-year deal last year so I don't really think so,"

He will have have to play a huge role if his international side harbour any hopes of getting into their first major tournament since the 1958 World Cup in Sweden.
