According to Spanish newspapers, a Spanish court has ordered Real Madrid midfielder Isco to pay €2.6 million to his former representatives for a breach of contract.

Sports management company IMG, who managed Isco, claimed that the player unilaterally broke his contract with the company which was believed to run till 2016. However, Isco said that the company discontinued their football management department and in the process breaking his contract.

The €2.6 million pertains to various sponsorship deals of the player and his move from Valencia to Malaga. The decision also included an entitlement of 10% of Isco’s annual fee of €5 million to the company despite them having no hand in his big money move to Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Isco insisted that he will appeal against the decision.
