Keita is expected to improve Liverpool

Naby Keita touted to make a big impact at Anfield

The RB Leipzig star is set to join Liverpool in the summer as a deal was agreed last August to bring the 22-year old to Anfield.

The Reds midfield is full of energy and industry but lacks the creative dynamism to dominate games against top opposition, which Keita will bring to the side.

While Jurgen Klopp will look to solve that issue in the summer, club legend Phil Thompson believes Keita will fit that role perfectly. He said:

“They’ve already strengthened with the signing of Keita from Leipzig. I think he is absolutely terrific. I was watching him against just last week in the Europa League and my goodness, this guy will probably give us what we’ve lacked."
“In that three behind the front three – he gives you goals, he gives you assists, he gives you energy and he’s a nasty little character. There is only James Milner who will really put his foot in and I think this guy could be a real sensation in the Premier League.”

There is no doubt that Keita will very likely prove to be a great fit at Liverpool and his arrival could prove key for Klopp's men to challenge on all fronts in the coming soon.

Former players and pundits are already acknowledging his arrival as a positive sign for Liverpool.

Klopp not worried about Salah's future

Liverpool v Leicester City - Premier League
Klopp not bothered about Salah's future

The Egyptian has been in outstanding form for Liverpool this season with his recent equaliser against Manchester City enhancing his reputation further.

The 25-year old has been scoring goals for fun and stepping up every time his team needs him.

The former Roma forward is leading the race to win the Golden Boot ahead of the likes of Harry Kane in the Premier League and is in pole position to win the European Golden Shoe ahead of the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Naturally, he is expected to join one of the European heavyweights similar to Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho and Xabi Alonso before him.

However, Klopp is not bothered about Salah's future and said:

“I know that Mo feels very comfortable here. He knows that our style of play suits him very well. So I am not worried about a transfer.”

Liverpool's style of play definitely brings out the best out of Salah and the same cannot be said if he moves to another club.

Further, Klopp is building a great team at Liverpool and Salah can be expected to stay put for the near future.

Chelsea leading Liverpool in the race to sign Jean-Michael Seri

Ajax Amsterdam v OSC Nice - UEFA Champions League Qualifying Third Round: Second Leg
Seri will not be easy to sign for Liverpool

The Nice midfielder is one of the top midfielders in Europe and is wanted by Liverpool if Emre Can leaves in the summer.

The Reds have been monitoring the player since 2015 and the Ivory Coast international could prove to be a solid replacement if the German departs.

However, Chelsea are now interested in Seri and are expected to push Liverpool to land the midfielder.

Further, the 26-year old has an agreement with the French club which allows him to leave if a bid of £35 million arrives. This could prove to be a good deal for most clubs looking for a talented midfielder.

Thus, Liverpool have a fight on their hands to land Seri if they want him in the summer.

Meanwhile, Chelsea could easily pounce ahead and close the deal to land a blow on their domestic rivals.
