Luis Enrique disappointed with Barcelona's poor penalty conversion rate

Barcelona manager, Luis Enrique, is disappointed with his team's efforts to score from the penalty box. The Catalans have missed 9 of their last 18 penalties making them one of the worst in all of Europe.

In spite of boasting of an attacking force of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez, the Catalans are unable to consistently score from the box – a much easier task than what they're able to produce day in and day out in the Liga BBVA.

When asked by reporters about Suarez missing his last penalty – against Rayo Vallecano – last weekend, Enrique was visibly distraught saying, "We are not successful in the penalties. We have to improve in this aspect, no doubt.

"We played a good game. When we are at this level it is difficult to stop us.

"The end of the season is coming. It is the best part. The most beautiful part of the season is coming now and we have to wait to see if we get what we deserve."

The title race continues to grow heavily in favour of Enrique's men. With their 4-0 win over Eibar last night, they continue to maintain their 8-point lead in the Liga even though title rivals Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid also won – with wins over Valencia and Celta Vigo respectively.

The Catalans next host Getafe at home in the Liga before hosting English giants Arsenal in the round-of-16 of the Champions League where they already hold a 2-0 advantage thanks to a Messi-double at the Emirates.
