Aurelien Tchouameni has reacted to Takefusa Kubo claiming that Real Sociedad's goal should've stood in their clash against Real Madrid on April 26.

Los Blancos traveled to the Anoeta Stadium on Friday to take on Real Sociedad in La Liga. They made nine changes to their starting XI keeping in mind their upcoming UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg clash against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

The changes saw Arda Guler make his first start for the club since arriving from Fenerbahce last summer. He made an instant impact, scoring in the 29th minute from a Dani Carvajal cross. Real Sociedad then thought that they've scored the equaliser two minutes later as Kubo put the ball in the back of the net.

However, the goal was disallowed as Ander Barrenetxea fouled Aurelien Tchouameni in the buildup. Both sides failed to capitalise on further chances as it ended in a 1-0 win for Real Madrid.

After the game, Kubo claimed that his goal shouldn't have been disallowed, saying (via Madrid Zone):

"Tchouaméni was sleeping and lost the ball, they'd never call that a foul in the UCL."

Tchouameni reacted to the claim on X with an emoji:

Moreover, this game was previously scheduled for Saturday but was preponed on Real Madrid's request due to their Champions League commitments. Kubo also shared his thoughts on that, saying:

"The calendar change and all that sh*t, it was a shame."

Los Blancos will next face Bayern at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday, April 30.

Carlo Ancelotti on changes to Real Madrid squad ahead of Bayern Munich clash

Carlo Ancelotti made nine changes to his starting XI to face Real Sociedad with the likes of Toni Kroos, Vinicius Jr., and Eduardo Camavinga all rested. Real Madrid, however, put in a decent shift. They had 43% possession and 3/5 attempts on target as compared to the hosts' 3/9 attempts on target.

After the clash, manager Carlo Ancelotti expressed pride in his players, saying (via Managing Madrid):

“I understand that people thought we were coming here for a stroll, but the players didn’t. I’m very proud of them, for their performance. I’m very proud of them, for their commitment, attitude, desire and enthusiasm to keep winning. They wanted to maintain the good dynamic and I want to thank them for that. In this sense, they were spectacular.”

Real Madrid are now 14 points clear at the top of the La Liga table before second-placed Barcelona host Valencia on Monday. Los Blancos need just four more points to secure the title if Barca keep winning as well.
