Arsenal are reportedly looking to snap up Juventus midfielder Manuel Locatelli this summer. The 26-year-old has been at Juve since 2021 when he arrived from Sassuolo in a deal worth £30 million.

Locatelli has been a key player for Massimiliano Allegri's side this season, contributing a goal and six assists in 39 games across competitions. Five of those goal contributions - a goal and four assists - have come in 35 games in Serie A, where Juve are fourth with two games to go.

Despite being contracted with the Serie A giants till 2028, Locatelli has been the subject of interest of the Gunners, as per TBR (via Juve Live). The Premier League club want to reinforce their midfield and reckon Locatelli is the man for the job, with the likes of Thomas Partey, Fabio Vieira and Albert Sambi Lokonga staring at uncertain futures.

It's pertinent to note that the Gunners were also interested in Locatelli in 2021 before he went to join Juve. They have renewed their interest in the Italian with an eye to sign him this summer. In 131 competitive games at the Allianz Stadium, he has contributed four goals and 13 assists and is also an Italy regular.

Arsenal are in the midst of a superb season despite their failures in both domestic cups. The Gunners made their first UEFA Champions League quarterfinal in 14 years and are flying high in the Premier League.

Following a 1-0 win at Manchester United last weekend, the Gunners are alive in the title race ahead of the final game of the season on Sunday (May 19). Mikel Arteta's side take on Everton at home, while leaders Manchester City - two points in front - host West Ham United on the same day.

The Gunners need to win and hope that City drop points to end their 20-year legue title drought. However, Pep Guardiola's side haven't lost in the league in over 20 games since early December as they seek an unprecedented Premier League four-peat.
