Manchester United have reportedly put a price tag of £50 million on on-loan attacker Jadon Sancho. The Englishman joined Borussia Dortmund for the rest of the season on loan in January.

Sancho, 24, has had an underwhelming stint at Old Trafford since his arrival from BvB in the summer of 2021. However, after a public altercation with boss Erik ten Hag, the Englishman didn't feature for the club before he was loaned back to his former club in the winter.

Sancho is expected to be back at United at the end of his loan spell. Ben Jacobs has reported that United are seeking £50 million for the player's permanent transfer, with Sancho desirous of staying on at BvB.

Interestingly, it's the same amount the Premier League giants sought from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ettifaq.

United's current loan deal for Sancho involves €3.5 million as loan fee and another €4 million as add-ons.

In his ongoing loan spell, the Englishman has contributed three goals and as many assists in 20 games across competitions. Most of those goal contributions - two goals and three assists in 14 games - have come in the Bundesliga, where BvB finished fifth to miss out on outright UEFA Champions League qualification.

However, they will return to the competition if they beat record 14-time chmpions Real Madrid in this season's final at the Wembley on June 1.

As mentioned before, Jadon Sancho hasn't quite set the stage on fire at Manchester United since arriving from Borussia Dortmund three years ago.

In 82 games across competitions, the 24-year-old has bagged 12 goals and six assists, making only three games - all from the bench and without a goal contribution in the 2023-24 season.

Most of his goal contributions - nine goals and six assists in 55 games - have come in the Premier League, with United finishing sixth in 2021-22 and third the next season.
