Rumour: Real Madrid enter the fray for talented Schalke midfielder Julian Draxler

Real Madrid are rumoured to have entered the race for rising Schalke star Julian Draxler, and are expected to make a bid for the youngster in the summer, if they miss out prime target Luis Suarez.

With Isco and Sami Khedira’s futures at the Los Blancos highly uncertain, the 20-year old could fit right in at the end of the season.

The German international’s future has been the most spoken about subject in the recently closed transfer windows, with Arsenal leading the pack for the majority of time.

However, having failed to match Schalke’s asking price for their asset, the Gunners were eventually disappointed in their month long pursuit of the playmaker.

Although Arsene Wenger is expected to launch frech efforts in the summer, Spanish giants Real Madrid will prove to be a massive hurdle for the English outfit.
